Jedi News kwam zojuist met een nieuw gerucht naar buiten met betrekking tot de Star Wars spin-off reeks. Een tijd terug al weer werd bekend gemaakt dat Josh Trank zijn geplande Boba Fett film niet zou gaan maken. Maar welke film komt er dan wel? Volgens bronnen van Jedi News, meerdere bevestigen dit bericht, zou regisseur Sam Esmail in beeld zijn om een nieuwe spin-off te filmen.

Now, we’ve had two separate sources telling us Lucasfilm is looking to have Mr. Robot creator Sam Esmail write a Star Wars anthology film. They’re claiming that he’s taken pitch meetings (like many others have over the last two years) with the studio and the project they believe is likely the Kenobi movie.
This could be the first word of actual development on an Obi-Wan Kenobi anthology project which currently has a large amount of fan support behind it.
En zoals je kunt lezen, komt het gerucht ook weer naar boven dat de nieuwe spin-off een Obi-Wan Kenobi verhaal zal gaan vertellen. Maar het blijven voorlopig natuurlijk allemaal maar geruchten.
